Rum Balls


Another of our favorite Christmas-time cookies.

2 1/2 C finely-crushed Nilla wafers
1 C confectioner's sugar
2 T cocoa
1 C finely chopped walnuts (or coconut)
3 T corn syrup
1/4 C (or more) dark rum, bourbon, or brandy

Mix wafers, sugar, cocoa, and nuts well. Add syrup and rum; mix well. Roll into 1-inch balls, then roll in confectioner's sugar.
