from Brenna

1 oz. mint syrup (equal parts sugar and water, heated till sugar dissolves, along with the leaves of about 5 sprigs of mint, strained out after sugar dissolves)
1 1/2 oz. lime juice
1 1/2 oz. light rum
top with club soda
garnish with mint leaf

All in a glass with ice.
